New Release #gayromance Husband To Make A Family by Devyn Morgan @AuthorDevyn

He needs a husband to create the perfect family. . .

Months after his oldest brother's death, Callum O'Donnell's unrelenting grief is interrupted when he learns his brother's daughter needs him. Seeing Sophie neglected and exploited by their other brother, Callum has no choice but to take her in. He's barely in a position to support himself, much less his eight-year-old niece, but Callum is duty-bound to step in and care for Sophie just as Jon cared for him growing up. He needs a place for them to stay, and an old friend offers just that in his new brownstone house.

Reid Ainsworth is happy to help Callum out of his crisis. Though he harbors a secret crush on his handsome friend, now isn’t the time to act on it. As it should be, Callum’s priority is Sophie’s well-being. But living with Callum full-time only makes Reid want a long-term commitment to him--something he’s never wanted before. When Callum’s bid for custody of his niece is jeopardized by his single marital status and lack of financial resources, Reid suggests they marry and create a stable home life for Sophie that is sure to impress a family court judge.

Despite the seemingly perfect solution to his problems, Callum is torn between his need to create a perfect family for Sophie and his growing desire for Reid, a man he is convinced is out of his league. Callum’s self-doubts and insecurities risk ruining the chance he and Reid can turn their marriage of convenience into one of love.

Husband To Make A Family is a standalone gay romance with no cliffhangers or cheating. It has a HEA ending and explicit scenes.

Excerpt

Callum watched as Reid left the room, unable to stop staring at the way the shorts highlighted Reid’s long, toned legs and his firm, perfect ass.

Stop it, he scolded himself. Reid didn’t deserve to have his hospitality rewarded by being ogled. But while Callum couldn’t deny his attraction to Reid, he knew it wasn’t anything he would act on. Sophie’s care and the looming custody battle were first and foremost on his mind right now. And even if they weren’t, Reid was so far out of his league, Callum knew he didn’t stand a chance regardless. The Ainsworths were one of the wealthiest and most powerful families in the state. They could trace their ancestors back to the Mayflower and Jamestown. He didn’t know much about Reid’s love life but Callum assumed he probably dated blue bloods like himself. So his attraction to Reid would remain unrequited.

Are you attracted to Reid or are you just grateful he is helping you out of a jam? Callum’s subconscious asked him. He didn’t know the answer but wouldn’t waste time pondering the point. Even if Reid wasn’t beyond his reach, he wouldn’t take advantage of Reid’s goodwill by flirting with him and pushing the boundaries of their friendship. Besides, Sophie deserved his focus now and Callum wouldn’t let anything distract him from her.
